i think i took the most comfortable overnight busride to one of the most astonishing places i’ve ever been to!
CUSCO – PUNO
going from cusco, 3.416 m above sealevel to puno, 3.800 m to mountains to taquile island, 4.050 m above sealevel.
floating and car-less islands, where doors not walls mark the borders between different sections of the land. life so simple and beautiful – one living in this world full of stress and materialistic worries can not imagine.
we’ve been dancing in traditional dresses, looking quite big. this marked the night we finally felt warm.
a lake, looking like the ocean, left us speechless.
