wowowow! you know the saying ‚time flies‘? – well, that’s what has happened ever since i went to krabi! AND only finishing this post half-way in to my vacation and possible future post by the end of january. WOW! but, not posting a blog entry in the month of december doesn’t mean it was a boring one! this last month of 2018 has been good! my mum visited bangkok (where we checked out a lot of cosy delicious places, and we went to koh samui. oh my, even landing at the tiny airport, where there’s not even a ‚real‘ gate it seems, as everything’s open air and chill. so yeah, i loved having her here and spending some mother-daughter time. i just realized then that it’s been the first time just me and her on vacation. even a daily dose of rain (it got more throughout the 4 days we stayed there) couldn’t blur our good mood – at least barely.. (many pictures of myself, because FINALLY SOMEONE – without me asking – TAKING PICTURES OF ME!) so – find some random pictures of koh samui and bangkok down below.
i must say, her and me together, we do find places to look at. and stroll around the town, finding the best spots to get acessories for everyone we can think of and collect inspirations for redecorating the house every now and then.. yeah, let’s stick with every now and then..
so, yeah, that happened. and then i worked again, and then – it was almost christmas time! and for that time of the year i just really wanted to be in a more calm surrounding than bangkok. so i decided to have a break of big city life, not knowing where to go yet. the weather for the south wasn’t too good the weeks and days before, so i really wasn’t sure whether risking it would pay off. the decision of NOT spending christmas and new year’s eve at the beach was really hard. and really GOOD! because i went to a place i already knew i loved! can you guess?
i wanted to pay tribute to the beautiful places by sharing single posts for each of them. so, be prepared – you’re gonna find a post on the 1st destination in just a little tiny bit. i promise!
