from PAI all the way back to chiang MAI and yes. i was kind of fed up with all the bus driving, even though i can very well sleep in everything that’s moving forward (or any way really).
so, chiang mai was good friends, loads of coffee – and (matcha)tea (for me) and food and talk, and writing and journals. and new years, (burning) lanterns, colorful celebrations. you might sense my writing enthusiasm reaching an end point for this holiday trip.
but if you’ve made it this far, through the triology of vacationing – thank you! find some of the many photos we took! i kind of mixed them up – so there may be many by my dearest, alysha!
CHIANG MAI
* go there for the lantern festival or new years
* be aware of the environmental impact of these festivals (shame on me i still enjoyed the lit up lanterns in the sky – not so much the lanterns getting stuck in the trees though)
* party at ‚zoe in yellow‘ but, i’d rather take it easy most of the nights – had better nights dancing and partying in other places
* definitely loved the „HAUS hostel“
